Smarter Travel for a Family Business

Caravan shows provide travellers the ideal opportunity to inspect this tactile product and talk with the makers but the schedule is gruelling, so Dreamer RV have paired up with another small family business to “share the load”.

“We joined forces with Meander Wild who make RV linen at the Brisbane Super Show and again at Sandown Leisurefest where we sold the products together and it was a huge success.”

Now, Tara and Jim need only to haul in their setup every second show, flying in for the interim events: “It’s about working smarter and not harder,” Tara says.

From Business Owners to Full-Time Travellers

Now the boys are older, their caravan has three long bunks and a roof top tent for when they want some space.

“This will be our fourth year away and it blows our mind but there is still so much we haven’t seen. During COVID we didn’t get the chance to visit a lot of places significant to Aboriginal communities.”

“It’s been a wild ride–very busy. But now we are comfortable with where the business is at, it feels like a well oiled machine. We have a small, very efficient team and Starlink make it possible for us to travel. We are lucky to have made it happen.”
