Ariarne Titmus – Host
Ariarne Titmus, born in Launceston, Tasmania, is one of Australia’s most celebrated swimmers. The Australian Olympic Committee lists her Olympic history as Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024. Her major career events include the 200m, 400m and 800m freestyle, plus the 4x200m freestyle relay.
Fiona Basile – Presenter
An internationally award-winning photographer, writer with almost three decades of experience capturing people, places and communities around the world. Based in bayside Melbourne, Fiona is also a passionate ocean swimmer. She brings that natural curiosity and eye for a great story to What’s Up Downunder, exploring and sharing the people, experiences and hidden gems that make the region special.
Gerado Lopez – Presenter
Gerardo Lopez is a Mexican-born restaurateur, entrepreneur and passionate outdoor adventurer with a love of food, culture and travel. A keen rock climber and familiar face on Australian television, Gerardo brings plenty of energy and curiosity to What’s Up Downunder as he explores the rugged landscapes, local flavours and unforgettable experiences of Victoria’s Grampians.
Jonathan Bleakley – Presenter
A fisherman and outdoor adventurer from the Central Coast of NSW, with a passion for life on the water, local produce and exploring Australia’s most spectacular touring destinations. As a presenter on What’s Up Downunder, Jono brings an easygoing style and genuine enthusiasm to every journey.
Felicity Palmateer – Presenter
Felicity “Flick” Palmateer is an Australian pro big-wave surfer, artist and television personality, known for pushing the limits in some of the world’s most challenging surf. A two-time Australian Survivor contestant, Flick combines a love of adventure with a lifelong connection to the ocean. She brings that adventurous spirit to What’s Up Downunder.

The Kokoda Special
From the Grampians to Lake Gairdner, through bogged vehicles, ancient cultural landscapes and nights camping on the sand – the Kokoda Special is four episodes of Australia doing what it does best.
Episode 4 – Eyre Peninsula to Lake Gairdner
The fourth and final special episode sees the group free a bogged vehicle before travelling west to Perlubie Beach on the Eyre Peninsula, camping on the sand, exploring Cape Bauer and Pildappa Rock, and reaching Lake Gairdner, where heavy rain brings one final muddy challenge on the way back.
Episode 3 – Cape Banks to 42 Mile Beach
The third of four special episodes sees the Price family explore Cape Banks and Mount Gambier, including the Umpherston Sinkhole and Little Blue Lake, before the journey takes a turn at 42 Mile Beach when their vehicle becomes bogged in the sand.
Episode 2 – Fitzroy River & Budj Bim
The second of four special episodes sees Trevor and Kathryn Price continue their journey to the UNESCO-listed Budj Bim Cultural Landscape, exploring ancient aquaculture systems before heading into Budj Bim National Park to spot koalas and enjoy an outdoor family feast.
Episode 1 – Melbourne to The Grampians
This first of four special episodes launching Season 16 of What’s Up Downunder follows Trevor and Kathryn Price as they debut the XG1 caravan in Melbourne and journey with their family to the Grampians, camping off-grid before continuing toward Warrnambool’s coast.
