Whether you’re shopping for a new caravan, planning your next camping trip or simply looking for something different to do with the family this weekend, Caulfield Racecourse is set to become Victoria’s biggest outdoor lifestyle destination.
The inaugural National Outdoor Living & Caravan Expo runs from Friday 17 July to Sunday 19 July, bringing together more than 150 caravan, camping and outdoor brands, alongside free family entertainment, live cooking demonstrations, educational sessions and plenty of food.
For caravan buyers, it’s an opportunity to compare dozens of manufacturers in one location. For everyone else, it’s an affordable family day out with far more than caravans on display.

What’s On This Weekend

Sessions throughout the weekend cover topics including:
- Caravan weighing
- Tow-ball weights
- Axle loads
- Combined vehicle weights
- Essential touring equipment
- Practical advice for new and experienced caravanners alike.
Live Weber BBQ Demonstrations

Food, Music and Plenty to Explore

Food options include burgers, pizza, Mexican, calamari, chicken, sandwiches, coffee and plenty more, making it easy to spend several hours exploring the show.
Looking to Buy?
With more than 150 caravan, camping and accessory brands under one roof, this is one of the easiest opportunities to compare layouts, build quality and features before making a purchase.
Rather than driving between multiple dealerships, buyers can inspect a wide variety of models side-by-side, ask manufacturers detailed questions and compare prices during the same visit.
Tip: Don’t focus solely on the interior finishes. Ask about payload, water capacity, battery systems, warranty, after-sales support and realistic tow weights before signing anything.
Public transport is recommended, with Caulfield Station located directly beside the main entrance.
