Australia’s 2027 Caravan Show Calendar: The Major Shows Confirmed

Ten major shows have locked in 2027 dates so far, from Newcastle in January to Brisbane in June. Melbourne's Supershow is on the move, and the major shows for the second half of the year are still to be announced.

Ten of Australia’s major caravan and camping shows, the state industry association shows plus the Townsville expo, have published their 2027 dates. Together, they run from 29 January to 6 June. The biggest change is in Melbourne, where the Victorian Caravan & Camping Supershow moves from February to March.

We checked every date on the organiser’s own website on 15 October 2026. Listing sites and aggregators can carry old or wrong dates, so treat anything you can’t trace back to the organiser with caution.

Other regional expos are filling in their 2027 dates too. Australian Events, which runs the Townsville show, has announced Moreton Bay at Redcliffe (12 to 14 February), Cairns (7 to 9 May) and Mackay (21 to 23 May), among others.

What’s changed for 2027

Melbourne moves to March. The Victorian Supershow ran from Wednesday 18 to Sunday 22 February in 2026. For 2027, Caravan Industry Victoria has it at Melbourne Showgrounds from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 March, one day shorter. It hasn’t said why.

Sydney stays big. The NSW Supershow is again a six-day event at Rosehill, opening on a Tuesday and finishing on Sunday 2 May. Our report from the 2026 show covers what stood out last time.

Cranbourne is back. The Cranbourne Leisurefest returns for a second year after its first show in May 2026.

Darwin waits until June. The Darwin 4WD, Boating & Camping Expo says it has “rescheduled for june 2027”, citing global economic impacts. Its last listed show at the Darwin Convention Centre was 14 to 15 June 2025, and it hasn’t published exact 2027 dates yet.

Still to be announced

An empty second half on this calendar is about timing, not a lull. The 2026 calendar has at least 12 shows between July and November, and none of those listed below had 2027 dates when we checked. Going by their 2026 dates, expect these later in the year:

  • July: Illawarra Caravan Lifestyle Expo (Kembla Grange) and SA’s winter Caravan, Camping & Outdoor Sale (Adelaide Showground).
  • August and September: Let’s Go Sunshine Coast (Nambour), Let’s Go Ipswich (Willowbank), the NT Caravan, Camping & Outdoor Show (Darwin Turf Club), the Albury Wodonga Outdoor Show and the Busselton Caravan & Camping Show.
  • October and November: the Melbourne Caravan & Camping Leisurefest (listed for 2027 at Sandown, no dates yet), the Canberra Caravan Lifestyle Expo, Let’s Go Explore at Brisbane Showgrounds, and the Bendigo and Geelong Leisurefests.

We couldn’t reach an official page for Tasmania’s shows, so we couldn’t confirm their 2027 dates.

Worth knowing: of the ten, only Townsville has posted 2027 ticket prices. It lists adult single-day entry at $20, or $16 online, though tickets weren’t on sale when we checked. Don’t assume this year’s price carries over.

If you’re going to buy, our caravan show buying guide covers how to compare vans, deals and dealers on the day. We’ll update this calendar as organisers announce the rest of 2027.
