Overview
The Legend Trackline 17ft 6in is a bold off-road hybrid caravan for campsite chefs and discerning vanners. It standardises a popular custom layout, offering a spacious lounge in an easy-to-tow footprint.
By introducing this popular customisation, Legend shaved more than $20,000 from the asking price due to efficiencies acquired at scale.
What’s more, this Trackline was the first to feature Legend’s new reinforced corners. These are now being rolled out mid-release on the production line across the entire range.
Entering a competitive field, the Legend Trackline 17ft 6in sits alongside models like the NOVA Terra Sportz 17ft-1, Masterpiece XTM 17C, and Urban Tungsten Tuff 18. These are all full-height, off-road couples’ vans targeting buyers who value strength, comfort, and self-sufficiency in a compact footprint.
Is the Legend Trackline 17ft 6in right for me?
The Legend Trackline 17ft 6in suits passionate campsite chefs wanting generous benchtop space. It offers an easy tow footprint that requires no extra setup at camp.
Astute adventure-seekers will also appreciate the compact size. Its timber-free HTAF construction, articulating DO35 coupling, and independent suspension are beneficial on the way to camp.
| Strengths | Compromises |
|---|---|
| More benchtop and living space than comparable models | A slightly narrower ensuite |
| Narrow cabinetry panel profiles save space and weight | Single axle may limit payload |
| Reinforced mouldings improve off-road performance and longevity |
Layout, Comfort & Liveability – Will it fit my lifestyle?
This layout cleverly maximises kitchen and living space without sacrificing a full ensuite and queen bed.
Interior Layout
A rear door configuration, the Legend Trackline features an L-shaped lounge forming the living and dining area and kitchen setup mid-ship. It has a north-south bed for the sleeping configuration at the front, and a full-width ensuite making up the bathroom layout at the rear.
The Trackline 17ft 6in is now the largest in Legend’s hybrid series. It teases campsite chefs with a 150mm gain in benchtop space compared to similar size layouts in Legend’s range.
Moreover, vanners will also enjoy a spacious L-shape microfibre leather lounge. This comes in an easy tow footprint—without additional setup at camp.
Despite all these gains in the dining-kitchen quarters, the bed remains accessible on three sides. There’s a wall-to-wall ensuite with a separate shower and toilet.

Comfort & Practicality
Legend achieves these gains by introducing clever curves and angles on the kitchen and bathroom benches. Furthermore, a narrow yet tough cabinetry profile saves space.
A striking geometric print on the splashback reflects Legend’s signature bold styling. This is complemented with a sink sunken into the chamfered marble-like benches. Generous microfibre leather trims and upholstery feel grand beneath the 1.97cm ceiling.

Build, Features & Self-Sufficiency – Can it handle my adventures?
From its new reinforced corners to its off-road suspension, the Trackline is built for adventure. It offers three flexible power tiers for off-grid stays.
Chassis & Suspension
Legend adopts its timber-free HTAF aluminium construction for the Trackline 17ft 6in. It teams with fully off-road with coil-sprung Cruisemaster XT independent trailing arm suspension and an articulating DO35 coupling up front.
The single axle, shod with R16 all-terrain tyres and 12in brakes, brings it to a halt.
Power & Water systems
The Trackline is available in three power tiers. It supports weekend stays off-grid to a comprehensive eRV spec, including support for state-of-the-art appliances like energy-efficient air-conditioners.
- As shown, twin 200W solar panels support the 200Ah lithium battery
- Twin 95L freshwater tanks and a 110L grey water
Storage & exterior design
The Legend Trackline looks stunning outdoors, with gold-coloured aluminium panels and a reinforced textured steel skirt. These encase the timber-free body and alloy frame.
Toggled bug lighting provides campers with a comfortable place to relax alongside the external kitchen. This kitchen comes standard with the Trackline range.
