Overview
The Kokoda Counterstrike Vincere is a luxury off-grid family concept caravan. It comprises 30 touring innovations, with only five units to be made.
Among the changes? A self-sustaining water recycling system and water generator that extracts water from the atmosphere. This allows for infinite water without extra weight. Additionally, it has a staggering power system, including a 7.3kW solar array.
Unique to market, the Vincere represents two years of extensive research. It involved consultation with design groups locally and overseas. In fact, we struggled to identify a true competitor. Though Mountain Trail is now doing interesting stuff with a similar Garmin setup system demonstrated here.
Discerning buyers may also compare some of the Vincere’s innovations against the expedition-grade Bruder EXP-8. They might also consider the Sunland LTD ADU, a collaboration with Aussie Destinations Unknown. Additionally, the luxurious Mountain Trail RV LXV 8 is a reasonable comparison.
Is the Kokoda Counterstrike Vincere right for me?
One of five available, the Kokoda Counterstrike Vincere suits touring families who demand a five-star experience. They prioritise cutting-edge technology for extended off-grid travel. They also seek self-sufficiency in power and water, advanced automation and premium interior comforts over budget constraints.

| Strengths | Compromises |
|---|---|
| Exceptional 7.3kW solar array, a 20kW battery system and 8kW generator | An extensive power system demands a high-capacity tow vehicle |
| Superb water autonomy, via reverse osmosis recycling and sourcing water from air | Availability limited with Kokoda releasing just five |
| Glamourous Curved Corian stone benchtops, incinerator toilet and a full king-size reclining massage bed |
Layout, Comfort & Liveability – Will it fit my lifestyle?
The layout delivers five-star luxury with seamless indoor and outdoor integration for ultimate comfort.

Interior Layout
Entry into the Vincere is forward of the extensive indoor-outdoor kitchen setup via a handy staircase with rails. Inside, you’ll find the kid’s quarters and a bathroom ensuite to the left. A shower is opposite and an extensive living and dining area is midship. Master sleeping quarters are to the right.
Sound proofing on the ceiling, toggled amber lighting indoors and curved Corrian benchtops set a distinct tone for the discerning adventurer. They are cut by a French artisan in house. Notably, there’s a smart indoor-outdoor pantry, equipped with an air fryer and coffee machine.
Opposite, the bathroom layout incorporates a grand ceiling to floor switchglass shower screen. It opaques at the push of a button. A walk-in robe and a laundry chute for the external laundry are also included.

Comfort & Practicality
The primary sleeping configuration involves concealed steps. They provide easy access onto a full king-size reclining massage bed. This bed is in full view of a projection screen for the Sony Projector and Surround Sound system.
Beautiful soft lighting impregnated within the Sound Sheild acoustic panels creates a striking, functional space. Internal dimmable and toggled bug-proof lighting contribute as well. Meanwhile, a ducted 5kW cooling and heating system taps into the staggering power system. It provides welcome reprieve in Australia’s extremes.

Build, Features & Self-Sufficiency – Can it handle my adventures?
The Kokoda Counterstrike Vincere packages a great deal. Kokoda developed a lighter truss chassis supporting the one-piece 38mm composite body. This shaved 200 kilos from build to bring the significant power system within towable range.
Chassis & Suspension
Traction control is excellent thanks to the multiple screen Garmin Smart system you can install in-cab. Specifically, it lets you monitor and control air-pressures on the van’s Mickey Thompson muddies. Additionally, it handles the air pressure within the Cruisemaster ATX airbag suspension mid-commute. This includes during setup at camp. The system also offers one-touch horizon adjustment at camp.

Power & Water systems
Kokoda introduces a three-tiered 7.3kW solar array to Vincere. It features a silent 8kW generator developed in-house. The 20kW battery system (scalable to 30kW) comprises Victron appliances and Baintech batteries with a 10KW inverter. The system can also feed back into an EV tow vehicle.
That reverse osmosis recycling system catches the grey water. It converts it into pure water molecules up to 10 times. This offers 1500L of instantaneous hot and cold water ‘per cycle’ from a 150L freshwater tank. This is supported by a water generator extracting up to 150L of clean filtered water daily from the air.
The Vincere also has a chemical-free incinerator toilet that turns waste to ash.

Storage & exterior design
Outdoors, one of two hardtop solar awnings shelters a pleasant, comprehensive stainless-steel kitchen. It incorporates camping luxuries like a coffee machine, dishwasher and air fryer. An 80L slide-out fridge freezer complements the internal 274L fridge.

Value, Warranty & Safety – Can I afford it with confidence?
Price & Inclusions
The price at $380,000 includes sophisticated water generation and water recycling systems and a Sony surround sound cinema with a projector. It also features full off-grid capabilities, a full king-size reclining massage bed and a comprehensive outdoor kitchen.
Warranty & Ownership
Safety & compliance
Multiple WI-FI cameras provide outstanding 360° visibility. Other important safety features include turn-by-turn navigation and in-cabin tyre and airbag pressure controls.
Verdict – Which option is best for me?
The Vincere carves a unique niche. It sets a new benchmark for energy and water independence that even premium rivals can’t match. Its combination of five-star luxury and conceptual technology places it at the apex of the off-grid touring market.
