Amid difficult news regarding Zone RV entering administration, Kokoda Caravans is extending a Zone RV Community Support initiative to customers facing lost deposits and instalments. The tiered support initiative offers advice, credits towards new a purchase and unconditional financial support to those facing unexpected financial loss and uncertainty through the move.
Kokoda’s Zone RV Community Support initiative opens from today until Christmas, or until the dedicated support fund reaches its limit on a first-come basis.
“Nobody in this industry wants to see families lose their savings or the dream they’ve been planning for months, sometimes years. As fellow Australian caravan builders, we feel a responsibility to step up in moments like this,” explains Kokoda Caravans Owner Trevor Price.
Kokoda emphasises affected customers should speak with the appointed administrators first. However, Kokoda’s team is available to help explain options and next steps – with no pressure, no obligation and no expectation to purchase.
1. Up to $20,000 credit toward a Kokoda
For customers affected by the news, Kokoda will offer a credit of up to $20,000 toward a new Kokoda Peregrine, Sojourn or Summit model. This applies to anyone who has lost a deposit or instalment payment with Zone RV.
Because Kokoda also builds using composite panel construction, the team can match or closely replicate many layouts and features that customers originally ordered.

2. Kokoda pledges unconditional support; $20,000 Community Support Fund
Kokoda has also opened a Community Support Fund with an initial $20,000 contribution, funded directly by Kokoda, with no purchase required from affected customers.
Anyone within the caravanning community is welcome to contribute to the fund with every dollar added directly supporting Zone RV customers who have lost deposits.
Kokoda will also donate an extra $3,000 per caravan purchase resulting from the Zone RV Community Support initiative.
“Kokoda’s $3,000 contribution applies only to eligible Kokoda vans purchased by customers affected by the Zone RV administration under this support initiative. It is not applied to all Kokoda sales,” Kokoda explains.
“The $3,000 is contributed by Kokoda into the Community Support Fund once an affected customer signs a contract and pays a deposit on a Peregrine, Sojourn or Summit model. This grows the fund but does not change the customer’s pricing and support begins immediately regardless of sales.”
Kokoda hopes the initiative will help affected customers regain trust in the caravan industry and help realise thier dreams of hitting the road.
This initiative will not impact current Kokoda customer build times or commitments.
