Enerdrive Is Now Dometic: The Next Chapter for Australian Mobile Power

The Australian mobile power business is set to complete the move by the end of 2026.

For more than a decade, Enerdrive has helped shape Australia’s premium 12V power market.

Its lithium battery systems, inverters, chargers and complete off-grid electrical solutions have become the benchmark for thousands of caravanners, 4WD owners, marine users and vehicle builders who value local engineering and long-term reliability.

Now, the brand enters its next chapter.

By the end of 2026, Enerdrive will complete its transition to the Dometic master brand, bringing Australia’s most recognised mobile power business fully into one of the world’s largest outdoor technology companies.

The logo is changing. The engineering behind it is not.

Australian Engineering, Global Scale

Enerdrive joined Dometic in 2021, beginning a gradual integration that allowed the Australian business to retain the qualities that built its reputation while becoming part of a global organisation.

Throughout that process, the Brisbane engineering team has continued designing, engineering and assembling premium mobile power systems for Australian conditions.

That remains unchanged today.

Operating as Dometic Mobile Power Solutions APAC, the same local team continues to support dealers, installers and customers across Australia, backed by the same engineering knowledge, technical expertise and after-sales support that established the Enerdrive name.

The transition simply brings that capability under a single global identity.

Built on Three Phases

Brand transition timeline

A Three-Phase
Transition

The move from Enerdrive to Dometic is being completed in three stages, with the full Dometic brand experience expected by the end of 2026.

1
Completed

Corporate integration

Completed in Q2 2026. This phase included documentation, business systems, invoicing, statements and internal communications.

2
Under way

Brand transition

Customer-facing channels are moving from the co-branded “Enerdrive Dometic” identity to the single Dometic master brand. This includes product packaging, marketing materials, website content and social media channels.

3
By end 2026

Full Dometic brand experience

Expected to be completed by the end of 2026. At that point, all products, communications and customer channels will be aligned under the Dometic master brand.

WUDU takeaway: For customers, dealers and trade partners, the transition is being staged rather than switched overnight, with the final brand alignment expected by the end of 2026.

The transition has been deliberately staged to minimise disruption across the Australian market.

The Things That Stay the Same Matter Most

For many owners, the practical questions are straightforward. Who supports my system? Does my warranty remain valid? Can I still speak with the same technical team?

Dometic’s answer is simple.

The Brisbane engineering and support team remains. Five-year factory warranties continue. Lifetime Australian technical support remains available. The existing national dealer and installer network continues unchanged. For vehicle manufacturers, dealers and existing Enerdrive customers, the transition is designed to feel seamless.

A Stronger Platform for Future Products

The transition also positions Australian-developed power technology within a much broader ecosystem.

Dometic already delivers refrigeration, climate systems, cooking appliances, sanitation, water management and mobile living solutions across the global RV, marine and overlanding markets.

Bringing mobile power fully under the Dometic brand creates a more integrated platform for future product development, particularly as complete off-grid electrical systems become increasingly central to modern touring vehicles.

Confidence Built Over Time

Reputations are built through products that continue working long after installation.

Enerdrive earned that reputation through Australian engineering, local technical support and systems developed specifically for the demands of Australian touring.

Those foundations remain. What changes is the name above the door.

As Tony Hamilton, General Manager of Dometic Mobile Power Solutions APAC, explains:

“The transition brings Enerdrive fully into Dometic. Same team in Brisbane, same commitment to Australian customers, now backed by a global outdoor technology leader.”

The Bigger Picture

Modern touring depends more heavily on electrical systems than ever before.

Lithium batteries, inverter systems, solar charging, vehicle integration and complete off-grid capability have become essential infrastructure for the way Australians travel.

The transition from Enerdrive to Dometic reflects that evolution. It combines one of Australia’s most respected mobile power engineering teams with the scale, investment and global reach of Dometic, while preserving the local expertise that customers have trusted for years.

By the end of 2026, the Enerdrive name will have largely disappeared from products and packaging.

Its engineering legacy, however, continues under the Dometic brand-designed, engineered and supported from Brisbane, now as part of a global outdoor technology leader.
