Caravan and RV dealerships across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland opening their doors for National Dealer Open Day.

The nationwide event gives prospective buyers and experienced travellers the opportunity to explore the latest caravans, motorhomes and campers in person – without needing to make an appointment.

With spring arriving and another touring season just around the corner, it could be the ideal time to start turning those travel plans into something more concrete.

See how a caravan really feels

Online research is a useful place to begin, but photographs and specifications can only tell you so much.

Walking through a caravan lets you experience the layout properly. You can check whether the bed is easy to access, see how much storage is available, stand in the bathroom and imagine what it would be like to cook, relax and travel in the space.

National Dealer Open Day is also an opportunity to compare different designs and ask questions about the details that matter, including:

  • Towing weights and vehicle compatibility
  • Caravan dimensions and layouts
  • Water and power capacity
  • Storage options
  • Off-grid features
  • Warranty and servicing
  • Available upgrades and accessories
  • Delivery timeframes

Whether you are researching your first caravan or considering an upgrade, seeing several options in person can make it easier to understand what will – and will not – work for the way you travel.

Make a morning of it

National Dealer Open Day is designed to be relaxed and easy to attend.
Bring the family, walk through the available models, speak with dealership teams and enjoy a sausage from the barbecue at participating locations.
There is no appointment required and no obligation to buy. Simply visit a participating dealership and take the time to explore what is available.

Scan and win $5,000 cash

Visitors will also have the chance to share in $15,000 in cash prizes.

Visit a participating dealership on Saturday 5 September and scan the QR code displayed on the day to enter.
Three winners will each receive $5,000 cash.

Entries open on Saturday 5 September and close at midnight on Saturday 19 September. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.

Entrants should review the competition terms and conditions for full eligibility requirements and prize details.

Spring is almost here

Spring often brings longer days, warmer conditions and renewed enthusiasm for exploring Australia.

National Dealer Open Day provides a chance to compare different RVs side by side, speak directly with people who understand the products and gather the information you need before making any major decisions.

For first-time buyers, it is a practical introduction to the different styles, sizes and layouts available. For experienced travellers, it is an opportunity to see what has changed and decide whether a newer model could better suit future adventures.

Sometimes the best way to begin planning your next trip is to step inside a van and picture where it could take you.

National Dealer Open Day will be held on Saturday 5 September at participating dealerships across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
