How hilarious are these photos? I love a campsite Halloween and this one, ‘Camp and sCARE’ hosted at the BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort, has been raising funds for amazing causes for 21 years.

A Spooky Tradition for a Great Cause
This year, sole beneficiary Whitsunday Suicide Prevention received more than $14,000, raised from all Friday night campsite fees and fundraising activities throughout the weekend.
Community led Whitsunday Suicide Prevention aims to reduce suicide and its terrible impacts formulating support groups within the community.
Community Gathers for Festive Fun
It wasn’t just campers and holidaymakers involved; locals also joined in on the shenanigans, sampling food, browsing stores and listening to music during the ‘Camp & sCare Froggy Eat Street’ amid Trick or Treating fun.

A Weekend Packed with Spooky Activities
Over the weekend, the BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort also hosted Scary Mini Golf, raffles, sausage sizzles, an outdoor screening of Haunted Mansion, Trick or Treat Bag Making sessions, face painting, Monster Pancakes by the Pool, a Monster Mash Disco and a Crazy Hair salon.
More Than Just a Fun Weekend for Families
BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort CEO, Phil Casey, said ‘Camp and sCARE’ is more than just a fun weekend: “It’s a chance for families to come together and support causes that make a real difference in our community, and we thank our guests for their generosity.
“We’d also like to thank the many local businesses who donated prizes and helped make this year’s event another huge success,” said Mr Casey.
