From the rugged beauty of the Grampians to the coastal dunes of the Limestone Coast and the vast salt flats of Lake Gairdner, this special series showcases the freedom of off-grid travel and the unforgettable landscapes that make Australia the ultimate road trip destination.

Episode 1 – Melbourne to The GrampiansRelease Date: Saturday March 14
The adventure begins in Melbourne where Trevor and Kathryn Price of Kokoda Caravans introduce their latest caravan, the XG1. Joined by their three boys, the family heads out of the city and towards the stunning natural surrounds of the Grampians.
After stopping at Pykes Creek Reservoir, they set up camp at Ferguson’s Camp before exploring the spectacular MacKenzie Falls. The episode highlights the freedom of off-grid camping before the journey continues toward the coastal landscapes near Warrnambool.
Episode 2 – Fitzroy River & Budj BimRelease Date: Saturday March 21
The journey continues at the UNESCO-listed Budj Bim Cultural Landscape, home to one of the world’s oldest known aquaculture systems. Guided through the region’s rich Indigenous history, the family explores volcanic landscapes and the remarkable waterways engineered thousands of years ago.
Later, they head into Budj Bim National Park to spot koalas in the treetops before preparing a family feast using the Kokoda XG1’s outdoor kitchen.
Episode 3 – Cape Banks to 42 Mile BeachRelease Date: Saturday March 28
Travelling west along the Limestone Coast, the Price family explores Cape Banks and its historic lighthouse before venturing into Mount Gambier. Highlights include the stunning Umpherston Sinkhole and a refreshing swim in Little Blue Lake.
But the adventure takes a turn when the family pushes further along the coast to 42 Mile Beach and their vehicle becomes bogged deep in the sand, leaving them stranded and facing an unexpected challenge.
Episode 4 – Eyre Peninsula to Lake GairdnerRelease Date: Saturday April 4
The final episode begins with a rescue mission to free the bogged vehicle before the journey continues across South Australia. Trevor and the boys push further west to Perlubie Beach on the Eyre Peninsula where they camp right on the sand.
Exploring the dramatic cliffs of Cape Bauer and the unique formations of Pildappa Rock, the adventure eventually leads deep into the outback and the vast salt flats of Lake Gairdner. But as heavy rain hits the region, the family faces one final challenge escaping the muddy tracks back to civilisation.
