Established in 1995 by former 2 x Australian and World Pro Am Champion, Merrick Davis, Merrick’s Noosa Learn to Surf is Noosa’s longest running and most recognised Australian surf school. Lessons run year round at 9am and 1.30pm (excluding Christmas Day) and are designed for males and females from 7 years upwards.

Noosa is one of Australia’s most beautiful seaside towns and offers the warmest water conditions with perfect, super safe, waist deep water for your surfing lessons. Merrick Davis and his elite team of world class, bilingual coaches provide you with all the skills, drills and style you need. Lesson can be taught in English, French and Spanish. New technology soft boards (regularly updated) and teaching techniques combine to make surfing lessons so much easier than ever before.
Your surf lessons are conducted in a a relaxed, safe and supportive environment. We recommend you try the 3 lesson package that fast tracks you straight to Intermediate level. We also recommend the 5 lesson comprehensive certificate program that teaches you everything you need to know, so you can then go off and buy a board and go surfing on your own – successfully.
For parents, we offer fantastic school holiday, kids club, safe surfing programs for children over 7 years during school holidays.
We also cater for Corporate/Team building days. These groups are educational, fun and tax deductible.

For intermediate to advanced surfers, we offer very informative surf classes personally developed by Merrick Davis, in line with the Australian Institute of Sport, to take you to your next level.
We also hire both mini mals and short boards, delivered free to your door. We stock fibreglass as well as specifically designed, latest technology soft boards, which are stable and fun to play on.
