The village of Old Bar has a wide range of shops, ATM facilities, resturants, a supermarket and a modern Bowling Club for meals and entertainment, which has won best club in the State for several years. The Club has a courtesy bus if you prefer not to drive. Tennis and Squash Courts are also available.
Also nearby is a small Heritage Listed Airstrip that micro gliders use, it can be very interesting to see and exciting for the kids. A bush walk trail map is also available form the office as we are surrounded by many hectares of natural bush and wonderful bush walking is available, the walks takes you through the bush and down to the Lagoon a great place for Kite Surfing.
Old Bar Beach Festival is an annual event held over the October long weekend, celebrating Old Bar’s unique heritage listed airstrip and beach cultrue. Also a large gathering of Kombi vans attempt to break the world record. All cabins are air conditioned. Surcharge applies for one night bookings. Minimum booking peak periods.
