Honestly, not much other than a desire for adventure, hiking, a love for stunning bush scenery, and a willingness to bond with a very unique and cool animal. We love them, and we think you will too. We do conduct a llama orientation before we hit the trail. At that time we’ll educate you on how to lead your llama, how to protect them, and what to watch out for while on the trail.

On a llama trek you can hike the beautiful and serene locations of the Macedon Ranges and Hepburn Shire carrying only a light day pack. On our llama trips, you will see and experience the Australian bush in a very unique way.
Llamas make great hiking companions, and in fact the relationship goes far beyond them simply transporting your supplies. Llamas are naturally curious and very aware of their surroundings, often the first to spot wildlife along the trail. They enjoy new sights and become very much a partner in your adventure.
